How we optimized our own explainer videos

HOW SPOT TRENDER HELPED US IMPROVE OUR EXPLAINER VIDEO

We built a leading cloud-based advertising testing company that has grown beyond just evaluating TV or online ads. It now helps brands and agencies test any type of creative content for any channel (TV, Digital: social, online, website, etc.), so naturally when we began creating explainer videos for Spot Trender, it goes without saying we wanted to test our own videos.

Have you ever felt so frustrated with long meetings in which everyone gives their opinion on how to improve an ad or marketing materials, but didn’t have enough data to back up their gut feelings? That frustration was why we started Spot Trender.

We eat our own dog food at Spot Trender. Recently, we made a video explainer to help explain our products and services to new clients. Our team had mixed feelings about the first version, so we decided to use Spot Trender to help make the best decision (also known as “Dogfooding” in Silicon Valley).
